'Sherlock Holmes' tops DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, June 28 (UPI) -- "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak said Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending June 24 is "Project X," followed by "Act of Valor" at No. 3, "Big Miracle" at No. 4 and "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Safe House" at No. 6, "John Carter" at No. 7, "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" at No. 8, "Wanderlust" at No. 9 and "True Blood: The Complete Fourth Season" at No. 10.

"Safe House" is No. 1 on the DVD and Blu-Ray rental chart for the week ended June 23.

"Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" is No. 2, "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" is No. 3, "Wanderlust" is No. 4, "Seeking Justice" is No. 5, "Project X" is No. 6, "Big Miracle" is No. 7, "Man on a Ledge" is No. 8, "This Means War" is No. 9 and "John Carter" is No. 10.
