
HOLLYWOOD, June 17 (UPI) -- Actor Ken Garcia died of sudden heart failure at his home in Orange County, Calif., his representatives said. He was 43.
The owner of Actors Studio of Orange County and a partner with Suzanne DeLaurentiis of Suzanne DeLaurentiis Productions, Inc., Garcia died June 11, his representatives confirmed Saturday.
His film credits include "Area 407" and "Black Gold." He will be seen opposite Michael Cudlitz and Melanie Griffith in "The Grief Tourist," slated for release this summer.
"Ken wasn't just a business partner with me. He was a warm, caring and talented human being who had a positive impact on everybody that he came in contact with," DeLaurentiis said in a statement.
Garcia is survived by his wife, Ronny Rubens-Garcia, and their 7-year-old son, Grayson.
A memorial service will be held June 23 at the Sea Cliff Country Club in Huntington Beach, Calif.
