LOS ANGELES, June 8 (UPI) -- Actor Matthew McConaughey plans to marry Camila Alves, mother of his two young children, in Texas this weekend, sources told E! News Friday.

About two dozen close friends and family members have been invited to the ceremony, the report said.

No other details regarding the happy event were immediately available.

McConaughey, 42, proposed to Alves, a 30-year-old Brazilian model and handbag designer, last Christmas.

The couple started dating in 2006 and are the parents of a 2-year-old daughter, Vida, and 3-year-old son, Levi.
