LOS ANGELES, May 15 (UPI) -- John Travolta's lawyer says the man who filed a sexual battery lawsuit against the Hollywood star dropped his claim Tuesday.

Attorney Marty Singer said he expects a second unidentified man, a cruise ship staffer, to withdraw his allegations as well. The second man has not filed any formal legal documents in the matter, but has discussed it with the press.

Both accusers said the "Pulp Fiction" and "Grease" icon groped and sexually harassed them.

"My client is completely vindicated by Doe No. 1 dropping his claims and dismissing his lawsuit," Singer said in a statement to E! News. "We fully expect that my client will similarly be vindicated with respect to Doe No. 2, as well as with respect to any other person who makes meritless claims against John Travolta."

The actor is married to actress Kelly Preston and is the father of her two children.
