
LOS ANGELES, May 10 (UPI) -- The music-themed movie "Joyful Noise," starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton, is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak said Thursday.
Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending May 6 is "New Year's Eve," followed by "Haywire" at No. 3, "Contraband" at No. 4 and "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" at No. 5.
Rounding out the top tier are "Captain America: The First Avenger" at No. 6, "Thor" at No. 7, "Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season" at No. 8, "Beauty and the Beast" at No. 9 and "War Horse" at No. 10.
The No. 1 DVD rental for the week ended May 5 is "Contraband."
"Haywire" is No. 2, "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" is No. 3, "We Bought a Zoo" is No. 4, "New Year's Eve" is No. 5, "The Darkest Hour" is No. 6, "Joyful Noise" is No. 7, "War Horse" is No. 8, "The Sitter" is No. 9 and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" is No. 10.
