NEW YORK, April 27 (UPI) -- "War Witch" was named Best Narrative Feature at New York's 11th annual Tribeca Film Festival, organizers announced Friday.

The movie's star, Rachel Mwanza, who played a 14-year-old former child soldier from Africa, won the prize for Best Actress, EW.com reported.

Tying for Best Actor are Dariel Arrechada and Javier Nunez Florian, the Cuban co-stars of "Una Noche," which won the Best New Director title for Lucy Mulloy, as well as the award for Best Cinematography.

Florian made headlines this month when he and actress Anailin de la Rua de la Torre apparently defected after flying into Florida from Cuba en route to the festival. Their whereabouts remain unknown.

The award for Best Screenplay for a Narrative Feature Film went to "All In" scribes Daniel Burman and Sergio Dubcovsky, EW.com said.
