Date set for next Oscars ceremony

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 14 (UPI) -- Hollywood's Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Wednesday key dates for next year's Oscars race.

The 85th Academy Awards nominations will be announced Jan. 15, while the Oscar telecast is to be presented Feb. 24.

The ceremony will take place at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live by ABC.
