LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Marcia Gay Harden's publicist says the Hollywood actress has filed for divorce from Thaddaeus Scheel after 15 years of marriage.
"For the sake of the couple's three children, Harden would like to request that the family's privacy be respected at this time," Harden's representative said in a statement issued to People.com. "No further comments will be made on this matter, and we thank you for your understanding."
The former couple have a 13-year-old daughter and 7-year-old twins, a son and daughter.
The Oscar-winning actress' film credits include "Meet Joe Black," "Flubber," "Pollock," "Mystic River" and "Into the Wild." She won a Tony Award in 2009 for her work in the play "God of Carnage" and also recently appeared in the TV shows "Damages" and "Royal Pains."
