'Harry Potter' earns 4 Kids' Choice nods

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 2" is up for four Kids' Choice Awards, America's Nickelodeon network announced Thursday.

The final installment in the fantasy franchise is nominated for Favorite Movie and Favorite Book, and its stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are in the running for Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Movie Actress.

"The Smurfs" nabbed nominations for Favorite Movie and its star Sofia Vergara for Favorite Movie Actress and Katy Perry for Favorite Voice in an Animated Movie.

"Kung Fu Panda 2" is nominated for Favorite Movie and Favorite Cartoon, while its star Jack Black is up for Favorite Voice in an Animated Movie.

Tom Cruise, Lady Gaga, Tim Tebow, Johnny Depp and Big Time Rush also are up for Kids' Choice Awards, which are presented to celebrities in the film, television, music and sports industries.

Other nominees for the fan-voted prizes include LMFAO, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Kristen Stewart, Justin Bieber and Miranda Cosgrove.

Beginning March 1, kids will be able to cast their votes in 20 categories across all of Nickelodeon's digital outlets, including Nick.com, Nick Mobile app, as well as Nickelodeon's Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Will Smith is to serve as host of the March 31 awards ceremony at USC's Galen Center in Los Angeles.
