LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- NBC says it has ordered 13 episodes of a new American drama series about brilliant serial killer Hannibal Lecter.
The show will be based on Thomas Harris' series of book. Film adaptations of "Red Dragon," "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Hannibal" featured Anthony Hopkins as Lecter, a role for which the actor won an Oscar.
EW.com said the actors who will play Lecter and FBI agent Will Graham on the small-screen have not been announced yet.
