LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Actress Vanessa Hudgens says she and fellow former Disney star Miley Cyrus share the same "om" tattoo.

Hudgens recently met up with Cyrus at an appearance at the 2012 People's Choice Awards in January, she told Access Hollywood Live Friday.

"We found out that we have the same tattoo!" Hudgens said. "It's an om [symbol]."

Hudgens had the om symbol, which refers to a chant used in meditation and yoga, tattooed on the outer edge of both of her pinkie fingers. Cyrus' tattoo is on her left wrist.

Hudgens said the body art helps her "spread positive energy" and to "center" herself.

"Journey 2: The Mysterious Island," starring Hudgens, Dwayne Johnson and Josh Hutcherson, opened in theaters Friday.
