HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Fans crashed multiple servers trying to secure advance tickets for the now sold-out Feb. 14 preview screenings of Hollywood's "Titanic in 3D," producers said.

Paramount Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox International said Wednesday advance Valentine's Day screenings throughout the United States and abroad sold out within hours of tickets going on sale.

The 1997 epic romance starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio will be released worldwide April 6. Written, directed and produced by James Cameron, the movie won 11 Oscars, including Best Picture.

April 14 is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the luxury liner in the Atlantic Ocean.
