SIERRA BLANCA, Texas, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Actor Armie Hammer spent a day in a Texas jail after police said they caught him with three medicinal marijuana cookies and a brownie.
Hammer, 25, starred in "The Social Network" and "J. Edgar." His upcoming projects include the high-profile movies "The Lone Ranger" and "Mirror Mirror."
TMZ said Wednesday the actor was released from jail after posting $1,000 bail a day after his Nov. 30, 2011, arrest for alleged pot possession at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.
Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg were previously arrested on the same charge in Sierra Blanca.
