LOS ANGELES, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Lindsay Lohan took a break from community service this week by jetting off to Hawaii for a few days, sources told TMZ.com.
The celebrity news Web site said Lohan got permission for the getaway from her probation officer because she was ahead of schedule racking up court-ordered hours working at the Los Angeles County morgue.
E! News said Lohan had, in fact, completed her 12 days of duty at the morgue before Dec. 14 as ordered by the judge and had submitted the required paperwork to the court. She also has been dutifully attending court-ordered psychological therapy sessions.
TMZ's source said Lohan also wanted to get herself tanned, rested and ready for the release of her photo shoot in Playboy magazine, which is being moved up.
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner announced via Twitter this week the magazine would come out earlier than scheduled because so many of the Lohan photos had been leaked to the Internet.
Entertainment Weekly said no release date had been set, but Playboy had thousands of extra copies printed in anticipation of a rush at the newsstand.
