Teen solves centuries-old math problem
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Rainey Qualley has been named Miss Golden Globe 2012, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association said Thursday.
Qualley is the daughter of actress Andie McDowell and former model Paul Qualley.
Every year, the child of a celebrity couple is chosen to help hand out statuettes at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
The 2012 event honoring the best in film and television for 2011 is to take place Jan. 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
British comedian Ricky Gervais is to serve as host of the presentation.
