LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1," with Robert Pattinson, topped the U.S. box office for the third straight weekend with $16.9 million in receipts.
"The Muppets" took the No. 2 spot with $11.2 million.
All studio estimates of gross U.S. box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"Hugo" was in third with more than $7.62 million; "Arthur Christmas" fourth with $7.35 million; "Happy Feet Two" fifth with $6 million; "Jack and Jill" sixth with $5.5 million; "The Descendants" seventh with $5.2 million; "Immortals" eighth with more than $4.39 million; "Tower Heist" ninth with $4.1 million.
"Puss in Boots" with in 10th place with $3.05 million.
