
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1," with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, took in a whopping $139.5 million to top the U.S. box office this weekend.
"Happy Feet Two," the animated sequel with the voices of Elijah Wood and Robin Williams among others, was a distant second with more than $22.02 million.
All studio estimates of gross U.S. receipts during the weekend are via Box Office Mojo.
"Immortals" was third with more than $12.25 million; "Jack and Jill" fourth with $12 million; "Puss in Boots" fifth with more than $10.72 million; "Tower Heist" sixth with $7 million; "J. Edgar" seventh with $5.9 million; "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" eighth with $2.9 million; "Paranormal Activity 3" ninth with $1 million.
"Footloose (2011)" was 10th with $835,000.
