LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger said via Twitter he cut his forehead while shooting "The Last Stand" in New Mexico.

"Got a little banged up on set today. Thanks to the medical staff who got me back in action an hour later!" Schwarzenegger said Thursday in his online message, which also featured a photo of him with a bloody gash down the center of his forehead.

TMZ said it was unclear how the action star sustained the injury.
