HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- "Avatar" star Zoe Saldana has split up with longtime boyfriend Keith Britton, but they will remain business partners, Saldana's representative confirmed.

Saldana, 33, and Britton, 35, were an item for 11 years and were once engaged to get married; however, Us Weekly said this weekend they decided to call it quits.

"(They) remain committed business partners as co-founders of fashion resource MyFDB.com," Saldana's rep told People magazine. "Respect of their privacy is appreciated during this time."

The exact reason for the breakup wasn't revealed, but Us said sources noted Saldana tended to downplay her relationship with Britton in public.

"She likes to keep her personal life to herself and wants people to focus on her as an actress," a source said.
