MONTVERDE, Fla., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- A 10,000-square-foot waterfront mansion in Florida owned by Chris Tucker is in foreclosure because the film star is $4.4 million behind in payments.

The Orlando Sentinel said the "Rush Hour" star could soon lose the home on Lake Apopka he bought in 2007 for $6 million because he is behind on his payments to SunTrust Bank.

The newspaper contacted Cynthia Lurry, who has power-of-attorney for Tucker in the home sale, but she declined to comment on the story.

The house has five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a personal spa in the master suite, an outdoor kitchen overlooking a pool and a basement designed to look like a pirate ship with a wooden deck, mast and sail, the Sentinel said.

Tucker began a stand-up comedy tour Aug. 19 in Long Beach, Calif. It is scheduled to wrap up Nov. 26 in Oakland, Calif.
