MANCOS, Colo., Oct. 7 (UPI) -- "Out West," a low-budget independent comedy starring Jennifer Elise Cox, Sean Astin, Beth Grant and Daniel Baldwin, is filming in Colorado, its producers said.

The supporting cast includes Ray Wise, Paul Bartholomew, Sam Pancake, Michael Traynor, Jonathan Schmock, Joel Rush, Carla Jo Bailey and Sarah Blevins.

The film's producers describe it as "City Slickers" meets "The Hangover," with a dash of "Legally Blonde" and "Priscilla Queen of the Desert."

The movie tells the story of rich heiress Prissy Alcott, who is living a life of luxury in Las Vegas with her teacup piglet, Baby, until she gets the call from Momma saying the family is broke and selling their ranch.

It is currently shooting in Mancos, Colo., at the Majestic Dude Ranch through October and Las Vegas through November, with an expected release date in 2012.
