LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Costumes worn by Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," "Bus Stop," "Niagara" and "Let's Make Love" are headed for the auction block.
Profiles in History said the items are part of the Debbie Reynolds Collection Part II, which is to go up for sale Dec. 3 at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The sale of Monroe's famous white dress from "The Seven Year Itch" fetched $5.52 million this year, setting a record for a film costume sold at auction. The dress was part of the first half of film star Reynolds' extensive movie memorabilia collection, which went up for sale last spring.
Profiles in History previously announced it is selling the diamond band Monroe wore during her 1954 wedding to baseball great Joe DiMaggio, as part of its Icons of Hollywood auction, scheduled to take place Dec. 15-17.
Monroe died in 1962 at age 36.
