'Bridesmaids' tops DVD sales, rental lists

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- The female-powered, R-rated comedy "Bridesmaids" is No. 1 on the DVD sales and rental charts in the United States, Rentrak reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the sales roster for the week ending Sept. 25 is "Spooky Buddies," followed by "Dumbo" at No. 3, "Thor" at No. 4 and "X-Men: First Class" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Modern Family: The Complete Second Season" at No. 6, "Barbie: Princess Charm School" at No. 7, "Hanna" at No. 8, "The Office: Season 7" at No. 9 and "Supernatural: The Complete Sixth Season" at No. 10.

The No. 2 DVD rental for the week ended Sept. 24 is "Thor."

"X-Men: First Class" is No. 3, "Hanna" is No. 4, "Set Up" is No. 5, "Everything Must Go" is No. 6, "Paul" is No. 7, "Something Borrowed" is No. 8, "Rio" is No. 9 and "Limitless" is No. 10.
