'Class' tops DVD sales, rental charts

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- The superhero movie "X-Men: First Class" is the top-selling DVD and No. 1 rental in the United States, Rentrak reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales chart for the week ending Sept. 11 is "Hanna," followed by "The Office: Season 7" at No. 3, "Madea's Big Happy Family" at No. 4 and "Sons of Anarchy: Season Three" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Rio" at No. 6, "Laugh to Keep From Crying" at No. 7, "Fringe: The Complete Third Season" at No. 8, "Two and a Half Men: The Complete Eighth Season" at No. 9 and "Dexter: The Fifth Season" at No. 10.

The No. 2 DVD rental for the week ended Sept. 10 is "Hanna."

"Priest" is No. 3, "Something Borrowed" is No. 4, "Paul" is No. 5, "Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family" is No. 6, "Everything Must Go" is No. 7, "Rio" is No. 8, "Limitless" is No. 9 and "Blitz" is No. 10.
