NEW YORK, July 2 (UPI) -- Model Linda Evangelista said in court documents filed in New York the father of her 4-year-old son is Salma Hayek's husband, Francois-Henri Pinault.

Sources told People magazine Evangelista named Pinault as the baby daddy as part of a petition for child support for son Augustin James that would amount to around $920,000 per year based on his 2010 earnings as a French businessman.

"In the filing, it says the child 'was born out of wedlock to (petitioner) Linda Evangelista, 46, and that (Pinault) acknowledged the allegation,'" the source said.

People said Saturday representatives for Hayek and Evangelista had not commented on the statements.

Hayek and Pinault have two children from his previous marriage. They were married in 2009, but were dating around the time young Augustin was born in 2006, People said.
