Cody to direct big-screen comedy

Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody is to make her directorial debut on the Las Vegas-set, big-screen comedy "Lamb of God," EW.com reported Thursday.

LOS ANGELES, June 30 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody is to make her directorial debut on the Las Vegas-set, big-screen comedy "Lamb of God," EW.com reported Thursday.

Cody is best known for penning the movie "Juno" and the TV series "The United States of Tara."

EW.com said she also wrote the screenplay for "Lamb of God," a film about a religious woman who experiences a lapse in faith and decides to try life as a sinner in Las Vegas.
