NEW YORK, June 26 (UPI) -- Actress Jennifer Aniston was spotted in New York City with the name Norman tattooed on her foot, honoring her recently dead dog.

In an interview for Bravo's "Inside The Actors Studio," Aniston, 42, said Norman is her favorite word, The Hollywood Reporter said. Norman died last month at 15.

The next day, Friday, she was seen with the tattoo, her first ever.

Aniston appears in "Horrible Bosses," which opens July 8 and in "Wanderlust" with Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux, which is scheduled for release Oct. 7.
