SAN DIEGO, June 25 (UPI) -- Director Steven Soderbergh says he will present a first look at his new action picture "Haywire" at this summer's Comic-Con exhibition in San Diego.

The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday that Relativity Media is bringing Soderbergh to Comic-Con for the first time and will also use the occasion to preview the thriller "The Raven" as well as a panel discussion on the big-budget epic "The Immortals."

"Haywire" is the first foray into the action genre that appeals to Comic-Con's fan base. He is best known for more-realistic films such as "Traffic," "Erin Brokovich" and "Ocean's Eleven."

The new film stars mixed-martial arts standout Gina Carano as a super commando battling her double-crossing handlers.
