Trailer released for new Muppets flick

HOLLYWOOD, June 19 (UPI) -- Disney released the first trailer for its new Muppets movie Sunday, giving film fans a look at the upcoming Christmas-season release.

"The Muppets" stars the venerable puppet troupe and human co-stars Chris Cooper, Jason Segel and Amy Adams.

Empire Online said the plot involves a slapstick musical adventure in which the Muppets try to save their longtime theater home from Cooper's malevolent businessman character.

The epic opens Nov. 23, according to the film's Web site.
