NEW YORK, June 9 (UPI) -- Screen icon Debbie Reynolds will show off her movie memorabilia collection on the reality series "Hollywood Treasure," Syfy announced Thursday.

The episode is to air June 15.

Reynolds has one of the largest private collections of movie props and costumes in the world, the cable network said. She has decided to put her entire collection up for auction through "Treasure" host Joe Maddalena's company, Profiles in History.

"Debbie Reynolds blazed the trail and got me interested in doing what I do today," Maddalena said in a statement.

"The reason I decided on Profiles in History is because they have the right heart and love for these beautiful costumes and props," Reynolds said.

Among the items headed for the auction block are the original Arabian-style "Wizard of Oz" ruby slippers, and Marilyn Monroe's famous subway-scene dress from "The Seven Year Itch."

"This is part of history and it should be preserved and saved," Reynolds said of her collection. "I am just grateful that we have this to present to the public."

"Hollywood Treasure" is a weekly reality series about the world of showbiz and pop-culture memorabilia collecting.
