Nighy, Farrell to star in 'Total' remake

LOS ANGELES, May 25 (UPI) -- Bill Nighy is in talks to co-star in director Len Wiseman's remake of the 1990 science-fiction flick "Total Recall," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Irish actor Colin Farrell has been cast as the lead in the film, which is to start shooting next month in Toronto. Bryan Cranston, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel have also signed up for roles.

Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in the original movie.

Nighy's credits include Wiseman's "Underworld" film franchise, as well as the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, "Love Actually," "Valkyrie," "Pirate Radio" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2."
