BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 26 (UPI) -- Comic actor Rob Schneider has confirmed he married Mexican television producer Patricia Azarcoya Arce in Beverly Hills, Calif., during the weekend.

Schneider is a former "Saturday Night Live" cast member who frequently collaborates with Adam Sandler on films such as "Grown Ups" and "50 First Dates."

"Patricia and I were surrounded by our closest friends and family; it was the happiest day of my life," Schneider said in a statement issued to People.com. "We had a great time at the wedding and are looking forward to our honeymoon."

No other details about the ceremony or honeymoon plans were immediately released.
