LOS ANGELES, April 4 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde said via Twitter Monday she and Justin Timberlake are "just friends" and not dating, despite media reports suggesting they are.

Wilde recently filed for divorce from her husband, Tao Ruspoli, and Timberlake ended his romance with actress Jessica Biel last month.

E! News reported the pair, who co-starred in 2007's "Alpha Dog" and will soon be seen together in "Now," were out during the weekend on what appeared to be a date.

"Cool it, honeybadgers," Wilde Tweeted in response to the report. "We are just friends and have been for years."
