LOS ANGELES, March 17 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor and "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant Gary Busey has lent his voice to a GPS application, NavTones.com said Thursday.

"The fun begins for drivers and passengers as their GPS calculates the route with Gary Busey imploring them to consider one of a selection of randomized tidbits of sage advice such as, 'Do not pet the lions or the gorillas,' or 'Be in the silence and let the journey be in the noise,'" the company said in a news release. "Continuing along the route, one might hear other unique pearls of wisdom such as, 'Don't look into the rear-view mirror to clean your teeth, or you could rear-end a log truck in Oregon and remove your teeth forever.'"

NavTones said its celebrity GPS voices are developed using original content and with the purpose of adding enjoyment to the in-vehicle navigation experience.

Busey, 66, appeared in the films "Blood Sport," "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot," "A Star Is Born," "The Buddy Holly Story," "Silver Bullet," "Lethal Weapon," "Bulletproof," "Predator 2," "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" and "Under Siege."
