NEW YORK, March 10 (UPI) -- Actress Kathleen Turner is to serve as host of the 77th annual Drama League Awards ceremony and luncheon in New York, organizers said.

The event is to take place May 20 at Manhattan's Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square.

Nominations are to be announced April 25.

Turner is to return to Broadway this spring in Matthew Lombardo's new drama "High."

Her film credits include "Body Heat," "Romancing the Stone," "Prizzi's Honor" and "War of the Roses." She was nominated for a best actress Oscar for "Peggy Sue Got Married."

On Broadway, she earned Tony nominations for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf." She also starred in "Gemini," "Indiscretions" and "The Graduate."
