NEW YORK, March 4 (UPI) -- Mike Myers' publicist has confirmed this week the Canadian-born actor and writer married his longtime girlfriend, Kelly Tisdale, in New York five months ago.
The couple began dating in 2006.
Myers and his first wife, comedy writer and actress Robin Ruzan, filed for divorce in 2005 after 12 years of marriage.
The New York Post, which Friday reported Myers' marriage to Tisdale, described the ceremony only as private.
Myers' representative confirmed the news to the Post and called the wedding "beautiful."
Myers is a former cast member of "Saturday Night Live" and the star of the Austin Powers and Shrek film franchises.
