NEW YORK, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Jude Law's publicist has confirmed the British actor and his longtime girlfriend, actress Sienna Miller, have broken up.

"I can confirm that Jude Law and Sienna Miller are no longer in a relationship," a representative for Law told People.com Tuesday.

The couple started dating in 2004, but broke up in 2006 after Law admitted he cheated on Miller with the nanny who cared for his three children from a previous marriage. Law, 38, and Miller, 29, got back together in 2009.

"It is mutual and amicable and they are still friends," a friend of the film stars said, adding their latest split happened several weeks ago. "It was an entirely an end-of-the relationship decision. It had run its course."
