'Hornet' buzzes to No. 1 at box office

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- "The Green Hornet," starring Seth Rogen and Jay Chou, swarmed to the No. 1 U.S. box office spot during the weekend with $34 million in gross receipts.

"The Dilemma," a buddy film starring Vince Vaughan and Kevin James, was No. 2 with more than $17.41 million.

All studio estimates of U.S. box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.

"True Grit" was third with $11.2 million; "The King's Speech" fourth with $9.07 million; "Black Swan" fifth with more than $8.12 million; "Little Fockers" sixth with more than $7.13 million; "Tron Legacy" seventh with more than $5.67 million; "Yogi Bear" eighth with more than $5.34 million; "The Fighter" ninth with more than $5.12 million.

No. 10 was "Season of the Witch" with $4.5 million.
