NEW YORK, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Film producer Neal Moritz has confirmed Irish actor Colin Farrell will headline a remake of "Total Recall," which Len Wiseman is to begin directing in May.
Farrell has starred in the movies "Phone Booth," "Daredevil," "Minority Report," "Alexander," "Miami Vice" and "In Bruges."
Wiseman is best known for directing the "Underworld" flicks.
The New York Post said the new version of "Total Recall" will be more faithful to Philip K. Dick's story, "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale," than the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger classic was.
