Schwartzman's wife gives birth to daughter

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Jason Schwartzman's wife, fashion designer Brady Cunningham, has given birth to their first child, a daughter, in Los Angeles, his publicist said.

The Hollywood actor's publicist confirmed to People.com Monday the baby, named Marlowe Rivers Schwartzman, was born Dec. 4 in Los Angeles.

Schwartzman and Cunningham married in July 2009.

The actor's film credits include "Rushmore," "The Fantastic Mr. Fox," "The Darjeeling Limited" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World." The co-star of HBO's "Bored to Death" is the son of actress Talia Shire, the nephew of filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola and the cousin of actor Nicolas Cage and director Sofia Coppola.
