Teen solves centuries-old math problem

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Film Critics Association has declared the Facebook origins movie "The Social Network" the best picture of 2010.
"Network" scribe Aaron Sorkin also picked up the prize for Best Screenplay, while the film's leader, David Fincher, shared the Best Director honor with Olivier Assayas, who helmed "Carlos," the winner of the Best Foreign Film distinction.
Colin Firth was named Best Actor for his work in "The King's Speech," Kim Hye-ja won the Best Actress trophy for "Mother," Jacki Weaver earned the Best Supporting Actress gong for "Animal Kingdom" and Niels Arestrup picked up the award for Best Supporting Actor for "A Prophet."
