NEW YORK, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Brett Ratner and Harvey Keitel turned out to skewer filmmaker Quentin Tarantino at a Friars Club roast in New York Wednesday.
A Friars spokesman told The Hollywood Reporter 2,270 guests attended the event honoring the iconic writer-director of "Pulp Fiction" and "Inglourious Basterds."
Sarah Silverman, Kathy Griffin, Richard Belzer, Rob Schneider, Whitney Cummings, Jeff Ross and Edgar Wright were among those who poked fun of Tarantino's looks, voice, excitability, knowledge of film and foot fetish, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
Thurman, who starred in Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill" films, poured wine in her shoe and toasted the auteur, the report said.
