Teen solves centuries-old math problem
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- The Bel-Air, Calif., home film star Nicolas Cage lost in foreclosure this year has been sold for $10.5 million, the Los Angeles Times said.
The 1940 Tudor-style mansion -- where Dean Martin and Tom Jones had also previously lived -- was listed at one point for $35 million, the newspaper reported.
The 11,817-square-foot house features six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a swimming pool, a wine cellar and a 35-seat home theater.
The Oscar-winning actor, who has starred in numerous blockbusters such as "National Treasure," "Gone in 60 Seconds," "Con Air," "The Rock" and "Moonstruck," has been battling financial and tax problems in recent years. He has lost several other homes to foreclosure, as well.
Cage is suing his former business manager for allegedly mishandling his money. The manager has filed a counter-suit, claiming the actor spends more than he makes, the Times said.
