
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- The animated "Megamind," featuring the voices of Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt, raked in $47.65 million for the No. 1 box office spot during the weekend.
"Due Date," starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, was No. 2 with $33.5 million.
"For Colored Girls," with Janet Jackson and Thandie Newton in an ensemble company, was No. 3 with $20.1 million.
All studio estimates of gross box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"Red Sum" was fourth with more than $8.85 million; "Saw 3D" fifth with $8.2 million; "Paranormal Activity 2" sixth with more than $7.29 million; "Jackass 3-D" seventh with more than $5.09 million; "Hereafter" eighth with $4.02 million; and "Secretariat" ninth with more than $4 million.
"The Social Network" was 10th with $3.6 million.
