Derns and Ladd get Hollywood Walk stars

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Actress Laura Dern and her famous parents Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd have been presented with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Monday's event marked the first time a trio of acting family members have earned the distinction on the same day, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said.

Guest speakers David Lynch, Mark Ruffalo, Joe Dante, Rev. Della Reese and Barbara Boyle took part in the star-dedication ceremony.
