LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- The next installment in the Batman film franchise will be called "The Dark Knight Rises," director Christopher Nolan told the Los Angeles Times.
The movie is expected to open in 2012 and will not be in 3-D.
Asked who will be the film's central villain, he replied, "It won't be the Riddler."
The Times said Nolan revealed it won't be Mr. Freeze either.
