NEW YORK, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- U.S. actress, author and health advocate Suzanne Somers will talk about appearing young and staying healthy in a soon-to-be theatrically released film.

The former "Three's Company" star and Thighmaster peddler who turns 64 Saturday, partnered with Cinema Events, a production, marketing and event distribution company, Screenvision, a cinema advertising firm, and Alan Hamel Productions on the project.

The producers of "Suzanne Somers' Breakthrough Tour" describe it as "an honest, engaging and often humorous discussion encouraging viewers to take charge of their health, recapture their youth and maintain their vitality."

The film is to premiere in U.S. theaters Nov. 4.

"Moviegoers will learn how Suzanne tackles difficult life experiences, including cancer, aging and menopause, and the daily steps she takes to stay ageless and vital in a toxic world," the producers said in a news release Tuesday. "Suzanne also explains how men can maintain their vigor, libido, energy and lust for life."

Somers said she finds it "absolutely essential" for people to talk opening about their health and well-being.

"I feel like these conversations have been whispers, when a megaphone is essential and I am grateful to have the opportunity to bring this to a larger audience, where I believe it belongs," she said. "I am living proof that it is possible to successfully take charge of your health, live a long and vital life, and die happy."
