The announcement was made Tuesday by Carlos de Abreu, founder of the gala.
Galifianakis will be presented with the Hollywood Comedy Actor Award, while Lawrence will be given the New Hollywood Award at the 14th annual prize presentation Oct. 25 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Galifianakis is best known for his work in "The Hangover."
Lawrence's film credits include "Winter's Bone" and the upcoming movie "The Beaver."
