Bening, Duvall set for Hollywood Awards

HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Film stars Annette Bening and Robert Duvall are to be honored at the upcoming Hollywood Awards Gala in Beverly Hills, Calif., organizers said Wednesday.

"American Beauty" star Bening is to be presented with the Hollywood Actress Award, while "The Godfather" icon Duvall is to receive the Hollywood Actor Award at the 14th annual Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony.

The event is to take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Oct. 25.

"It is a privilege to honor and to celebrate Annette Bening's and Robert Duvall's extraordinary talent as well as remarkable work and to recognize their outstanding acting achievements," Carlos de Abreu, founder of the Hollywood Awards Gala, said in a statement Wednesday.
