'Sound of Music' cast reuniting on 'Oprah'

CHICAGO, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Members of the cast from the classic 1965 movie "The Sound of Music" are to reunite on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in Chicago, TVGuide.com reported.

This will be the first time Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Charmian Carr, Nicholas Hammond, Heather Menzies-Urich, Duane Chase, Angela Cartwright, Debbie Turner and Kym Karath will appear together since making the big-screen musical, which won five Oscars including best picture in 1966, the report said.

The actors are booked for the Oct. 29 edition of "Oprah," which recently began its 25th and final season.
